Football, also known as soccer in some parts of the world, is a sport that has captured the hearts of billions of people around the world. Football is more than just a game for many people around the world. For many fans,  It's a vital part of their life. But how is it possible for a sport to be so ingrained in people's lives?What makes a game so appealing to people?

Football is a part of It's fans identity. Fans of football are one of the most dedicated & loyal sports fan in the world.  They proudly wear their team's jersey , display posters and banners in their homes and even get photos of their team's logo or their favorite players in the wall. Fans from different part of the world come together as a family to support their team and celebrate their team's victory .

Football has a great impact on their fan's daily life. After a long hectic day at work, people around the world stay up late to watch their favorite team play. It helps us to feel relaxed. The thrill & excitement of cheering our favourite team or player can also divert our mind from the issues that we are continuously  dealing in our life. It is a more like a much needed vacation from the stresses of daily life. 

Football also works as a source of motivation for many football fans. Life of many football players are very inspiring. For example,Argentine football player Lionel Andres Messi always criticized for not winning any trophy with his national team despite proving his football greatness many time. These criticism couldn't  stop him.  After losing 4 consecutive world cup & get humiliated  by the entire world,he went for his 5th world cup at the age of 35 & finally wins the title & come out as the world champion. Morever, many football players face serious injuries while playing. After recovering from their injury they always comeback to the field to entertain us by their crazy football skills. It shows their boundless dedication for the game. These never give up attitude of players are always works as a great motivation for many football fans like me.

Football has a great power of unite people of all over the world. The world cup,for example,  is one of the most watched sporting events in the world. People from all over the world come to watch their favourite team play in this tournament. According to Gulf Times, The FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 recorded a high fan attendance of 3,404,252 fans over the tournament period from Nov. 20 till Dec. 18 & The final match on Sunday at the Lusail Iconic Stadium, that saw Argentina defeating France 4-2 on penalty shootout, recorded the groundbreaking attendance of 88,966 spectators.Besides,millions of people around the world also watched world cup match on tv at home. This one game brings people from many countries,religions and cultures together. 

Football is also a great platform to raise awareness on social issues because of It's massive golval reach. Football clubs and players always came forward & raise their voice against different social problems. For example, In Champions & Europe League football matches, team captains wear a armband featuring the words 'Say no to racism' as a part of their campaign against racism. Besides,  according to a report of The Times of India, Football players took a knee in support of the Black Lives Matter movement during the Premier League match between Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal on December 06, 2020 in London, England. Like these, here is many story in football where footballers show their protest against many social issues in many ways.

Moreover, the simplicity of football makes it more beautiful and makes it easy to connect with people from any background. For playing football,one just need a open feild and a ball. No expensive equipment or proper training is required. All you need is love & passion for this game. 

In the end, we have always been emotionally connected with football.It is a part of our life. Sometimes it makes us cry,  sometimes it gives us boundless happiness. Every pass,  shot,  tackle & everything about this game is like a poetry for us. It teaches us to be dedicated & passionate to our work. The never give up attitude in football inspire us in our life. It is not just a game, It's an emotion for us.
